Hawthorn (Shields of Deception Demo)

Hawthorn is the demo of a project called Shields of Deception currently in the works. It's an action-adventure story-driven game with combat, collecting & exploring elements. The demo is around 10-15 minutes long. 

You are playing as a fearless knight known as The Crow. She's agile & fearless. You regain health as you damage enemies, so make sure you regularly evade to stay alive.

The project will continue to be updated, improving combat, environment, & reported bugs. Please leave a review of your experience & detailed suggestions for improvements are extremely helpful. 

The music on the main menu is the official custom theme song for The Crow. The song will be uploaded to Apple Music & Spotify soon. Improvements will continue as the community for the project grows. Join our Discord.

• Mouse Wheel (Click) - Lock-On/Unlock from target
• Space Bar - Roll/Evade
• Q - Block/Parry
• F - Bird's Eye View Ability (Controlled limited time, highlights enemies & collectibles)
• Control (Hold) - Ready dagger
• Control (Hold) + Left/Right Click - Throw Dagger
• Escape - Pause
